Colorful Dipped Gluten Free Waffles

It’s no secret, but brunch is one of our favorite times of the day. Try these gorgeous waffles to add a little color to your morning!

For the waffles:


For the icing:

  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk, or soy alternative
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • A few drops of food coloring


  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, and oil. Beat to combine.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder, and sugar together in a separate bowl.
  3. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
  4. Spoon batter into a preheated waffle iron. Smooth out to cover the entire grid, and bake for 3-5 minutes.
  5. While your waffles are cooling, combine all of the icing ingredients in a small bowl. Stir thoroughly.
  6. Cut waffle into fourths. Dip half of the waffle into the icing to color. Place onto wax paper to let harden.
  7. Enjoy!
