Bacon Cracker Crisps

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Glutino table crackers
  • 1 package of bacon
  • ¾ cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • Oregano for flavor

Directions

Place the crackers on 2 ungreased baking sheets making sure there is at least a half inch of space between each cracker. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of each cracker until it is sufficiently covered (you may need to grate more cheese depending on how much cheese you like to use). Sprinkle a some oregano on top of the Parmesan cheese for flavor. Cut the strips of bacon in half and place one of the half strips on top of the Parmesan cheese on each cracker. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of each piece of bacon.

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Cook the bacon cracker crisps for 1 hour or until the bacon has fully cooked. Remove from the oven, allow the crackers to cool for 5 minutes, and then serve warm!
